✨ How has a positive mindset shaped your "Life, Sport, Career"?

A positive mindset has shaped my life so far by allowing me to overcome the challenges and adversity that I have already faced in my career. Having a positive and refreshing mindset allowed me to overcome the challenging years, both during my time as an undergraduate student and a graduate student. I still have this mindset and carried it over to my job search. I keep a positive mindset every day, knowing that my opportunity will come. I also plan on keeping a positive mindset when I do get my job, to get over those challenging days during my career. In essence, a positive mindset allowed me to accomplish the goals that I had set out for myself. Without a positive mindset, I would never be where I am today. My positive mindset got me through college and gave me the motivation to push through the challenging stretches.

About Me

I am John Rossetti. I am a recent graduate student from the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut. I have just graduated with a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of New Haven’s Pompea College of Business. I have also received my undergraduate degree there, where I majored in Legal Studies (Pre-Law) and minored in Business Management. I am now looking to break into the sports industry to start my career. Ideally, I would like to work in sports marketing to start my career and then transition to athlete representation as a player agent. However, I am open to just about any area of sports business, especially just starting my career. Prior to me going to college, I was a multi-sport athlete playing baseball, basketball, golf, and soccer. I have a deep passion and love for sports that I want to translate to my future business and profession.
