This verse is my absolute favorite, I actually have it tattooed that’s how important it is to me. It can powerfully relate to the role of a positive mindset in life, sport, and career by highlighting the importance of trust, patience, and perspective in the face of uncertainty. Having a positive mindset has helped me become a better teammate and leader during times I could have easily fallen short.

✨ How has a positive mindset shaped your "Life, Sport, Career"?

For me, my biggest test in life thus far has been my knee injuries. I have torn both of my ACLs, one entering freshman year, and one now, sophomore year. I saw my life change when I accepted what had happened, and instead of wondering “why me?” I embraced the suck because perspective is everything when it comes to adversity. I know that a positive mindset reminds you that your journey is bigger than one moment. These experiences shape you into exactly who you are meant to be. This relates to any instance in life whether it is life, sport or career. Everything happens for a reason and ultimately leads to a greater plan God already has written for you!
