✨ How has a positive mindset shaped your "Life, Sport, Career"?

A positive mindset was crucial during my toughest season as captain of my soccer team. Despite a losing record, I focused on keeping morale high and encouraging my teammates to stay resilient. It wasn’t about the outcome, but about fostering growth and progress, both individually and as a team.

In life, this mindset has taught me to focus on what I can control, turning challenges into opportunities for growth. Instead of dwelling on setbacks, I’ve learned to embrace them and push forward with optimism.

In my career, staying positive has helped me face challenges head-on, whether overcoming obstacles or seizing new opportunities. It’s the belief that I can make the most of any situation that has allowed me to continue growing and achieving my goals.

About Me

Annie Nordgren is an ambitious and personable accounting student at Oklahoma State University, set to graduate in May 2025 with a 4.0 GPA. With a concentration in External Reporting, Control, and Auditing, Annie is on track to earn her Master’s in Accountancy and CPA certification by 2026. She thrives in both academic and professional settings, with experience as a teaching assistant, peer tutor, and assurance services intern. Outside of her studies, Annie enjoys playing pickleball, traveling, and cheering on Oklahoma State’s football team. Known for her positive attitude, she is eager to make an impact in the audit field and looks forward to building lasting relationships along the way.
