I Love It Here: How Great Leaders Create Organizations Their People Never Want To Leave

Clint Pulver

I am thrilled to highlight I Love It Here: How Great Leaders Create Organizations Their People Never Want To Leave by Clint Pulver as the December 2025 pick for Courtney’s Corner! Clint Pulver is an Emmy Award-Winning, Motivational Keynote Speaker, Author, Musician, Workforce Expert, and Professional Helicopter Pilot. I chose this book as the December 2025 book choice for the insightful and in-depth research that focuses on workplace culture and leadership.

My husband and I had the pleasure of listening to Clint Pulver speak at a conference. He delivers a powerful leadership message for his audience, while simultaneously providing them a remarkable experience to remember. In my opinion, a speaker who has the capability of moving their audience from laughter to tears has delivered a memorable speech.

In this book, Clint introduces the reader to the Undercover Millennial Program. He lays a solid foundation with initial research that explains why the topic of workplace culture is important and relevant. The Undercover Millennial Program included interviews of thousands of millennials and younger workers to better understand what they loved, why they loved their job, and what they did not enjoy. He highlights the most common responses from satisfied employees was that they loved their bosses.

He walks the reader thoroughly through the four types of managers. These four management styles include The Removed Manager, The Buddy Manager, The Controlling Manager, and The Mentor Manager. I will let you purchase the book to understand what type of manager is highly regarded and why this particular managing style resonates with employees the most.

Clint has a unique way of allowing the reader to reflect on their own experiences within the workplace, while also educating leaders on what truly resonates with employees when it comes to leadership in the workplace.

One of my favorite quotes from this book focuses on connection, which can also be drawn back to one of the 3 C’s of Plenty of Positivity. Clint explains that “connection is the link that forms when people experience a consistent, high level of trust, love, empathy, kindness, and care.” While he captures the reader’s attention with the connection a leader has with their team, it also made me broadly realize the impact our connection can have in our everyday lives.

I highly recommend this book due to its incredible research on workplace culture, leadership, and fascinating insights on how to get a leader have their employees willingly say “I love it here.” Grab your copy today on Amazon. You will greatly enjoy this book!
